I am suspicious of this, but my curiosity might get the best of me and I may have to try it. An iPod Nano/Video for $8 ??
Amazon.com is now selling downloadable mp3s that are DRM-free and will play on any machine or mp3 player. This isn’t really new, they have been doing it for a while, but what I didn’t realize when I first read it that it would download right into your iTunes Library. Also, I have found that most full CDs are about $1 less than what you pay on iTunes, added to the fact that they are DRM-free MP3 files.
So I wanted to buy one of the older Demon Hunter albums and I got it on Amazon for $9.49 (only 50 cents cheaper than iTunes) but I got the songs in MP3 format, DRM-free and placed right into my iTunes Library.
Methinks Amazon found a new customer
