Satellite TV Guru Blog

Written by admin the 24 of September at 4:09 pm

Man, I love blogs. Not only for their built-in RSS Feeders that keep you up-to-date so well, but also because of just how they are laid out to provide you with all the latest info for whatever subject or niche they are promoting. I found a really great one today for Satellite TV

http://www.satellitetvguru.net lets you compare the two largest Satellite TV services, they show you how to install and setup a new Dish, they give helpful tips on saving money on your Satellite system by providing you with cool coupons and promotions offered by these companies, and they even have a section for Satellite Radio.

I signed up for Direct TV myself a while back, because at the time they had the best promotion going, and I wanted something that I could setup out far away from the city limits at my Deer Lease. I wish that I had known about http://www.satellitetvguru.net  at the time because they would have been quite helpful is getting me the best deal and showing me how to set it up, especially where I was at the time.  It was WAY out away from the city limits and all I wanted was a way to watch the Sunday Football game, LOL.  So check this site out and even add them to your RSS Feeder to be kept up on the latest reviews.

Branding Identity Guru for Your Business Niche

Written by admin the 24 of September at 3:42 pm

Branding identity Guru, or B.I.G. for an acronym, is a company that takes your product and brands it so that people know what you are selling.

You ever see those commercials or ads in the newspaper with some hot chick in the scene, wearing something skimpy or provocative? What is the product being sold? It’s easy to remember all the eye candy that companies use today when they try and use sex to sell what they need, but what are the really selling? Does anyone ever remember? B.I.G. helps you with Branding your product so that people know WHAT you are selling and WHO you are selling it to.

A lot of companies want to be perceived one way, but are actually perceived another way. And unfortunately, in the business world of today, perception is often times reality. Or at least it is viewed that way by customers who want something fast and don’t like to spend time looking around at all the options. Your product needs to be clear-cut and readily identifiable so that the market knows what you are selling.

So go check out http://www.brandidentityguru.com/corporatebranding.htm and make sure your company and product are alligned with it’s proper brand and make sure that your company name is the FIRST to be thought of when someone asks..”hey, I wonder where I can get …..”

Wpromote Affiliate Program

Written by admin the 19 of September at 11:41 am

Get $10 immediately for signing up at Wpromote.  Get $50 for everyone you refer to them.  I just signed up for this site and they credited my account with $10.  They claim they will index your site within 48 hours, so we will see how well it works.

Wpromote Affiliate Program
Their program is free to join, it’s easy to sign-up and requires no technical knowledge.  Affiliate programs are common throughout the Internet and offer website owners a means of profiting from their websites.  Affiliates generate sales for commercial websites and in return receive a commission for any sales they generate.

How Does It Work?
When you join the Wpromote affiliate program, you will be supplied with a range of banners and textual links that you place within your site.  When a user clicks on one of your links to Wpromote, their activity will be tracked by our affiliate software.

BlogPicks, build traffic on your blog.

Written by admin the 18 of September at 3:49 pm

I found a new site called BlogPicks. It is a topsite for blogs. How it works is you submit your site to their list, and you place a link code to your blogs home page. Every time you send a visitor to BlogPicks, it registers as a unique hit. The more hits you send, the higher up your site is ranked. And the higher up your site is on the page the more exposure you get.

This site is completely free and differs from others because it is very clean and user friendly. It is not covered in advertisements. As traffic starts coming in, more and more people will see your blog and visit it. All of the traffic will be genuine. It will come from visitors surfing other blogs or from search engines. They will never “buy” fake traffic.

So please feel free to submit your blog(s) and insert your link code to your blog. If you have more than one blog, do not use the same link for all of them, instead use the Join form for each.

I joined and placed this site on their list and you can see my linkback BlogPicks image on the left menu. So go click on it and visit the site, and give KBJ a vote at the same time. Then signup your own blog.

BlogRush Gets You More Traffic

Written by admin the 15 of September at 7:54 pm

BlogRush is a “Cooperative Syndication Network” that rewards its users for their contributions to the network. BlogRush was designed to be incredibly viral and to provide its users with tremendous distribution leverage to receive exposure for their blog content that they could never achieve on their own; at least without a massive advertising budget.

The BlogRush Widget

By adding the BlogRush Widget to your blog, you get instant distribution for their latest blog post titles across a network of related blogs. BlogRush users earn “syndication credits” (the right to have their blog post titles shown inside a widget on another related blog) based on their own traffic as well as the traffic of other users they refer to BlogRush.

Let’s say you run the BlogRush widget and your blog gets 1000 views per day. That means headlines from your blog will be viewed 1000 times on other blogs running the BlogRush widget. What’s more, if you refer another blog to the network and they do 1000 page views per day, you’ll get your headline shown another 1000 times. This goes down for ten generations.

Nokia N95

Written by admin the 13 of September at 4:38 pm

Why MammaRose hates the Nokia N95!

I recently bought the Nokia N95 at T Mobile and was quite impressed with it for about two weeks, and then Nokia announced the N95 8GB! I hate it when that happens. You buy a phone like the N95 because it’s the best phone available and then a few weeks later an even better version is announced. It’s got all the great features of the N95 – the 5-megapixel camera, the integrated GPS, the media controls, but with twice the built-in memory, 8GB flash memory and a bigger screen! Sure, it costs a couple of quid more, but look at what you get - an 8GB multimedia smart phone! If only I knew they were going to bring out a better N95 phone, I would have waited. Now I wish I could trade my N95 in for a N95 8GB!

AuctionAds

Written by admin the 7 of September at 7:37 pm

It looks like AuctionAds is serious about expanding their network. Yesterday, they announced that they were increasing affiliate payout from 2% to 5% and today they sent words that any new publisher signing up for AuctionAds will get an instant $25 credited to his account. This also applies to publishers who have already signed up but haven’t earned a payout yet.

New publishers just need to sign up and they will receive a balance of $25.00 automatically. Please note if you signed up with us previously and have never earned a payout we will bump your current balance to $25 too!

While it sounds like you do make an instant $25, please keep in mind that AuctionAds has raised the minimum payout to $50, so you’ll have to earn another $25 before getting paid. Still, all these sudden increases in payouts is a step in the right direction.

Feedburner for your RSS Feeds

Written by admin the 1 of September at 8:45 pm

I setup this blog and several of my others on Feedburner last week.  Feedburner is a great program and resource for sharing your RSS feed with others who are interested in your Blog Topic of Interest, and increases traffic on your site as more people watch your RSS feed.  Check out the info below for more information on them.

www.feedburner.com

FeedBurner offers the biggest, baddest advertising network for blogs and RSS feeds you’ll find anywhere on the planet. We’ll put your advertising message in front of an impressive online audience spanning the world’s most recognized media publishers (e.g. Wall Street Journal Online, Wired News, Ziff Davis), A-list bloggers and blog networks and individual publishers from around the world.

Benefits of FeedBurner’s Ad Network

  • Highly attractive blog advertising opportunities across a wide range of categories
  • The most RSS feed inventory on the Web today
  • Millions of subscribers and visitors — probably more since you started reading this

Features of the Ad Server

  • Ads are targeted by content channel. (Can you say “customization”?)

  • Day-partitioning
  • Frequency-capping
