Spyware is a type of software that monitors the actions of a computer user and falls into a number of categories:
- Software that may be installed on purpose to help provide security or workplace monitoring
- Software designed mostly for collecting marketing data
- Software that is maliciously installed, either as a general violation of a person’s privacy or to collect information that may allow further attacks on their computer such as “keylogging”.
Almost everyone gets spyware at some point and getting rid of it can be very difficult. Free spyware removal can be just as effective as paying for a high priced anti spyware package, but you have to use the right software.
At one point, this site offered free spyware removal as a free service, but there are so many big named companies offering this server now that we decided to tell you about them rather than try to stay on top of all the spyware out there - it’s very time intensive you know 
Best Spyware Removal Programs
So, what is the best free spyware removal software out there? Microsoft, without question, has one of the best free programs and it’s called Windows Defender and Microsoft has put a lot of effort into making this the number program on the net!
There is also Spy Bot search and destroy which has a very large following, and it does a great job at spyware removal, but like most software companies, they don’t stand much of chance at competing with the Giant.
So, if you’re looking for free spyware removal software, check out Windows Defender or Spy Bot search and destroy. Both are free and do a great job at detecting and eliminating spyware.
